Eindhoven based French designer Dimitry Suzana (1990) graduated from the Design Academy in
2019.
Throughout his education, he learned how to expand his thoughts about which matters the design practice can tackle. With a firm focus on fighting against generic solutions, by rethinking small scale issues, his conceptual work aims to empower users/audience to understand our responsibilities in increasingly complex societies.
Project: Unfit to Live
The Eindhoven based French designer focuses on fighting against generic solutions, by rethinking small scale issues and creating conceptual projects. His latest work, “Unfit To Live” takes a position towards the taboo surrounding death, as well as questioning from where we formulate our opinions concerning the “Right To Die” movement.
With Unfit to live, Suzana sets out to increase our understanding of the conditions of ALS disease (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) by creating a new context that aims to provoke empathetic reactions.
